Team TimeInstructor: Mrs. Guliano, Mrs. Watts, Ms. Price
Team Time is a reading and writing enrichment resource for second and third grade students. Classes rotate through for a thirty-minute period three times each week. Three permanent Team Time teachers and the homeroom teachers serve as the students' small-group leaders. During each session, students receive instruction in key reading strategies that grow them as independent, enthusiastic readers. Shared, paired, and independent reading time are all incorporated into the class period.
DRA testing three times per year enables teachers to monitor reading growth and to better tailor teaching to students' needs.
